Process
I took on this project solo and researched my own content creating the activities and content based on that research. In this scenario professionals struggled to prioritize tasks, stay focused, and achieve optimal productivity. It was identified that employees had support and an effective working environment but lacked the knowledge of effective time management solutions. As a result, project timelines often faced delays, deliverables were compromised, and overall project success as at risk. To address this challenge, I wanted to create a micro learning experience since these professionals had a baseline knowledge of time management but lacked practical strategies. The "Time Management Mastery: Boosting Productivity, Prioritization, and Focus" microlearning course was developed to provide these strategies.
Design and Development
- Bite-Sized Learning: The course is divided into three sections Prioritization for Productivity; Focus and Concentration Techniques; and Goal Setting and Progress Monitoring. each focusing on a specific aspect of time management. The content is delivered in bite-sized modules, allowing learners to absorb information efficiently and apply it immediately
- Interactive Activities: The course features interactive activities, such as prioritizing tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix, practicing the Pomodoro Technique, and engaging in goal-setting scenarios. These activities provide hands-on experience and opportunities for learners to practice and reinforce their time management skills.

- Real-World Application: The course emphasizes practical application by presenting real-world scenarios and challenges that learners may encounter in their personal and professional lives. Learners can explore different pathways and observe the consequences of their decisions, enabling them to relate the course content to their own experiences and apply the strategies effectively.
- Checklist and Checkpoint Structure: Each section includes a checklist summarizing key concepts and strategies. These checklists serve as handy references for learners to review and reinforce their understanding of the course material. Additionally, checkpoints are included throughout the course to assess learners' knowledge and understanding.

- Reflective Conclusion: The course concludes with a reflective section that encourages learners to reflect on the outcomes of their decisions in the branching scenarios, consider how they can apply effective goal setting and progress monitoring strategies, and reinforce their commitment to continuous improvement in time management.
Project Outcomes
Creating this microlearning experience allowed me to use my skills building courses in Rise 360 and utilizing different interactive elements like checkboxes, sorting, and a sort scenario. I utilized research skills to identify content and create the text for the experience. I learned more about micro learning and how to support working professionals in their development of essential skills like time management.
